When its hit the fan, being a little more prepared than most can be very helpful, often in the event of a power failure due to a Civil Defence Emergency its really good to have a torch with a wrist strap, that can be powered by some mechanical format, hence a torch with a crank to wind for power. but this unit is so much more than this, it can be charged from USB or power bank, has its own charging cable which when charging has a light indicator, it can charge your phone to a degree with some reasonable winding, has a built in scanning FM radio for when communication has really gone south for the winter, but also has an emergency sounding siren for when you just cant shout for help anymore.
